Vélo Québec is looking for bicycle first aid volunteers for the 2026 Go vélo Montréal Festival, which includes two iconic events:

• Le Tour la Nuit – Friday, May 29, 2026
• ️Le Tour de l’Île de Montréal – Sunday, May 31, 2026

Every year, thousands of cyclists take part in these festive and community-building events in the heart of Montreal. To ensure the safety and well-being of participants, we are looking for volunteers capable of responding quickly along the route in case of a medical emergency.

Your role
As a bicycle first aid volunteer, you will be responsible for:

• Riding directly on the route with the participants;
• Respond to situations requiring first aid;
• Provide a reassuring and safe presence throughout the event;
• Collaborate with on-site teams and emergency services as needed.

Requirements

• Own a bicycle;
• Provide your own first aid kit;
• Have completed a 16-hour general first aid course valid on the day of the event.

Volunteer schedule:

Friday, May 29, 2026, in the evening from 6 p.m. to approximately midnight (varies depending on position)

And/or

Sunday, May 31, 2026, in the morning from 7 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m. (varies depending on position)

Be available for the entire duration of your assignment (approximately 5 to 7 hours for Tour la Nuit and 5 to 8 hours for Tour de l’Île de Montréal).
