Want to spend a rewarding and meaningful summer? La Cabane Day Camp is looking for volunteers from June 29th to August 26th to work with children in a creative, caring, and stimulating environment.
Whether you’re a 14-year-old looking to gain your first meaningful experience or an adult eager to get involved in the community, your contribution is welcome.

Your role: Volunteers take part in the camp’s daily activities: games at the park, workshops (cooking, art, science), supporting the children and staff, and organizing supplies.

Schedule and Commitment

• Schedule: 7-hour days (between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., arrival time based on needs and availability), Monday through Thursday.
• Commitment: A minimum of 4 consecutive days during the summer. Consistent attendance facilitates integration and allows for a better experience of the week’s theme.
• Note: The last week of camp ends on Wednesday, August 26.

Training and Certificate
A 2-hour training session followed by a tour of the facility (1 hour) is mandatory before the start of your volunteer block. Training sessions take place on Fridays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM throughout the summer. A volunteer certificate can be issued at the end of your participation.

• Friday, July 10: For the weeks of July 13 and July 20
  Theme: Taco Time!

• Friday, July 24: For the weeks of July 27 and August 3
  Theme: Our Bird Friends!

• Friday, August 7: For the weeks of August 10, 17, and 24
  Theme: Garage Sale + Olympics
