Located in the borough of Saint-Laurent, one of the most diverse areas of Montréal, the Centre des femmes de Saint-Laurent has 40 years of commitment to supporting women’s empowerment and growth. Founded in 1983, the Centre is an accessible and inclusive space, open to all individuals who identify as women aged 18 and over. It provides a warm and welcoming environment to break isolation, support women in achieving autonomy, and collectively defend their rights.

Our organization is rooted in an intersectional feminist approach and in the collective defense of women’s rights.

The Centre des femmes de Saint-Laurent is seeking two new volunteer board members to join its Board of Directors.

As a board member, you will be expected to:

• Participate in the Centre’s decisions and strategic direction;
• Fulfill your fiduciary responsibilities by ensuring the organization’s financial health and legal compliance;
• Support and guide the Executive Director in achieving the organization’s mission;
• Ensure that feminist values and the mission are upheld in all decisions;
• Act as an ambassador for the Centre within your network and the broader community.
