Our volunteer driver-companions provide transportation for seniors to their medical appointments, as well as trips to the grocery store, pharmacy, and group grocery services.

The transportation service is offered in Côte-des-Neiges and Outremont.

Some requirements:

• Hold a valid driver’s license for at least 2 years
• If you do not have a vehicle, one can be provided to you
• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be patient, empathetic, attentive, and punctual
• Speak French and/or English
• Be discreet and have a strong sense of responsibility

Schedules are flexible depending on clients’ needs.

Responsibilities:
• Gather the necessary information for each service (schedule, route, level of mobility);
• Transport assigned individuals at the scheduled time;
• Ensure that clients have safely entered their homes;
• Follow up with the person in charge to share any feedback or comments.
