We’re getting ready for the 2026 Breakthrough T1D Walk – Montréal, taking place on June 7, 2026, at Angrignon Park, and we’d love your help to make the day unforgettable for our community!

Breakthrough T1D Walk is the largest fundraising event in Canada in support of those living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) - bringing together thousands of families, friends, and supporters to accelerate breakthroughs and get us closer to cures.

Volunteers are at the heart of the Walk, and there are lots of fun and meaningful ways to get involved. Whether you’re available for a short shift or the whole day, every role makes a real difference for people living with type 1 diabetes.  

We’re currently looking for volunteers to help with:

• Check‑in – welcome walkers and help everyone get started
• Snack tent – keep participants fueled and smiling
• BBQ tent – support meal service and create a great atmosphere
• Along the route – cheer on walkers and offer encouragement
• Kids Zone – help create a fun, safe space for our youngest participants

No previous experience is needed — just a friendly attitude and a willingness to help...training will be provided.
