SEP is looking for female volunteer interpreters to provide simultaneous interpretation during individual consultations, support group sessions, coffee meetups, or workshops. These are occasional assignments.

We are particularly in need of volunteers to interpret from French and English into:

• Arabic
• Spanish
• Punjabi
• Hindi
• Urdu

Requirements:

• Provide simultaneous interpretation concisely and with the ability to effectively summarize the content
• Ensure the confidentiality of conversations
• Be empathetic
• Adopt a non-judgmental approach
• Commit to a minimum of six months
