We offer

• Approval of strategic directions, the business plan, and the resulting budgets;
• Contribute to the organization’s development by leveraging your expertise;
• Ensure that the organization’s management optimizes the use of its human, financial, and material resources as much as possible;
• Participate in and ensure the proper governance of the organization alongside all members of the board of directors;
• Prepare for board meetings by reviewing documents submitted prior to the meetings; participate in and contribute to discussions and decisions during board meetings and the annual general meeting.

Your Qualifications

• GUEPE is seeking a board member with one or more of the following areas of experience to ensure the board’s diversity of expertise:
• Communications and marketing
• Business development and networking;
• Social impact;
• Finance.

As well as the following strengths:

• Experience serving on the board of directors of a nonprofit organization;
• Experience in the tourism sector;
• Experience in digital marketing and/or technology tools;
• Knowledge of the social economy sector;
• A strong interest in the natural sciences and outdoor activities;
• A desire to share your experience with a team of passionate people.

As part of our regional development efforts, we particularly encourage applications from the Capitale-Nationale and Outaouais regions.
