Volunteers needed at the reception desk of our community social pediatrics center Tasks: Our community social pediatrics center is seeking two volunteers to fill in at the reception desk between July 2nd and August 28th, 2026. Occasional year-round replacements may also be available. Training will be provided in May or June 2026. Depending on volunteer availability, we would like to offer 3-hour shifts (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM). We are looking for serious individuals willing to commit to one or two shifts per week during this period. This is an excellent opportunity for people who enjoy working in the medical field or with children and families. We offer a calm, supportive, and welcoming environment. A variety of reception duties, such as welcoming families on clinic days, answering and directing calls and emails to internal stakeholders. Data entry into software, assisting with operational tasks, and collaborating with stakeholders (doctors, social workers, educators). Required skills: Speaking French, excellent customer service skills. Comfortable working with computers and information systems. Comfortable working with vulnerable clients, active listening, discretion, and empathy. Respect for confidentiality and individuals. Availability: Weekdays, daytime, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Ideally, you should be able to offer 1 or 2 three-hour blocks per week (9 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.).
