Contribute to the well-being of others by becoming a volunteer! Do people often confide in you? Are you available for four hours a week? Join our team of volunteers and offer a listening ear over the phone! For over 34 years, Tel-Écoute has contributed to the well-being of thousands of people each year through its listening services. Our volunteers receive free training in active listening, mental health, aging, and the grieving process. You can then listen for 4 hours a week, depending on your availability, on our three listening lines: - Tel-Écoute (ages 18-59) - Tel-Aînés (ages 60+) - Le Deuil (bereaved individuals) Listening takes place on site at our offices in Montreal, near the Langelier and Radisson metro stations. The environment is pleasant and bright! Free parking is also available on site. Retirees are welcome! We look forward to welcoming you to Tel-Écoute!
