À travers nos services psychosociaux et communautaires, nous soutenons des familles souvent marquées par la détention, l’instabilité résidentielle, la pauvreté, la stigmatisation, les ruptures parentales ou l’ ADHARA, formerly Continuité famille auprès des détenues (CFAD), has been supporting justice-involved women and people from sexually and gender diverse communities, as well as their children, for the past 40 years, from a perspective rooted in social justice, non-judgment, and reintegration. Through our psychosocial and community services, we assist families often affected by incarceration, housing instability, poverty, stigma, parental separation, or involvement with youth protection services.

ADHARA aims to be a safe and welcoming space for women and people of diverse sexual and gender identities who are involved in the criminal justice system or at risk of becoming so, whether they are mothers or not. We support them so they can meet their basic needs, overcome the consequences of their involvement in the criminal justice system, and regain control over their lives.

We are looking for someone who can help us develop content for our social media channels, manage posts, and contribute to our outreach strategy.

Here are the volunteer’s main responsibilities:

• Assist with content creation for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn;
• Create designs on CANVA for external communications such as newsletters and social media posts;
• Assist with content management (scheduling, publishing, responding to comments, etc.)

To carry out these tasks, we are looking for someone who has:

• Proficiency in design tools such as CANVA;
• Experience or training in content management;
• Excellent writing skills in French; English is a plus;

The volunteer will be able to work remotely. 

There is no set schedule or minimum time commitment.
