The Outils de paix Network works collaboratively to foster cooperation, creativity, and innovation. We share knowledge and resources on violence prevention and the development of peaceful skills to promote citizen-led initiatives for peace.

We are looking for a volunteer to help us meet the following needs of the organization:

  • Facilitating communities of practice
  • Co-facilitating meetings with network members
  • Assisting with the preparation, logistics, and facilitation of workshops
  • Participating in the co-creation of group projects (ideation, planning, coordination)

Commitment requirements:

  • Approximately 6 hours/week on average (except during the summer)
  • At least one in-person meeting per week (day and time to be agreed upon)
  • Location: virtual and at the Outils de Paix office (201 Sainte-Catherine Street East)

Qualifications:

  • Interest in social communication and issues related to peace and nonviolence
  • Excellent writing skills in French; a working knowledge of English is a plus
  • Attention to detail, creativity, independence, and a team spirit
