We are deeply committed to providing our students, many of whom come from backgrounds with certain risk factors, with a warm and supportive space where they can thrive. Our caring team is dedicated to helping them reach their full artistic and human potential. We prioritize teaching methods that are tailored to each student’s needs and learning pace. This fall (2025), we are looking for a new Treasurer to join our Board of Directors! The Treasurer role may involve a variety of tasks. First and foremost, every board member takes part in the group’s monthly meetings, where key organizational directions are discussed and decided in alignment with our mission. We are seeking someone ready to join us for a minimum two-year term. Below are the tasks shared between the Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer, with ongoing support from the organization’s management team: Monitor revenues and expenses Process payments and deposits Keep financial records up to date Prepare regular financial statements Reconcile bank statements Present financial updates to the Board Develop and monitor the annual budget Support financial planning Ensure government filings are completed Prepare documents for review or audit Provide financial data for grants or fundraising Ensure proper use of funds Organize and transfer financial records during transitions Anyone who wants to give back to the community is warmly welcome to apply!
