The CIUSSS du Centre-Sud is looking for volunteers to assist a singer-guitarist in performing for patients on the wards. You don’t need to sing, but you should be cheerful to help create a festive atmosphere.

Your role: Provide friendly visits and a listening ear to patients and help create a joyful moment for them.

Ideally, you will be part of a team of two volunteers at a time.

Schedule:

- Tuesdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

- and/or Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM

- and/or Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Qualities sought:
- Feel comfortable in a hospital setting and enjoy interacting with older adults
- Be outgoing, energetic, and cheerful
- Show empathy, listen actively, and demonstrate kindness and compassion, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Be able to communicate in French
