The CIUSSS du Centre-Sud is looking for volunteers to support staff members and assist patients in the emergency department at Verdun Hospital.

Your tasks:

• Provide comfort and a listening ear to patients
• Help with the distribution of meal trays
• Providing water or bringing a blanket, as needed
• Helping to stock medical supply carts
• Ideally, you will work in teams of two volunteers at a time.

Schedule: Evenings from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (weekdays or weekends).

Qualities sought:

• Feeling comfortable in a hospital setting
• Being outgoing and approachable
• Showing empathy, listening actively, and demonstrating kindness and compassion, while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Being able to communicate in French.
