Become a Welcome Buddy and Change Lives! Were you born in Québec or have you been well integrated into Québec society for several years? Do you enjoy meeting new people and discovering other cultures? Then our intercultural buddy program is for you! What is intercultural pairing? It is an initiative that brings together people with an immigrant background and members of the host society. The goal? To facilitate the social integration of newcomers while creating meaningful and enriching friendships. For immigrant participants, this is an ideal opportunity to: Practice French in an informal setting Discover Québec’s customs and traditions Break down cultural and language barriers For welcome buddies, this is a unique experience to: Share Québec culture and personal experiences Open up to other realities and better understand the challenges faced by immigrant communities Build enriching and reciprocal relationships Why participate? By getting involved in this program, you help build bridges between cultures and make a real difference in someone’s life. You will have the opportunity to enjoy an exceptional human experience and broaden your horizons, while strengthening the social fabric of your community.
