The Volunteer Bureau of Montreal and Accès-Bénévolat are organizing the Montreal Volunteer Meetups at the Grande Bibliothèque (BAnQ) on Sunday, April 19, 2026, as part of Volunteer Week. The goal of this event, which is open to the general public, is to promote volunteerism in Montreal and facilitate connections between people who want to get involved and community organizations in need of volunteer support. There will be booths run by some 30 organizations and mini-conferences. We are looking for a small team of volunteers to help us with a flyering campaign in front of the Grande Bibliothèque on the day of the event to promote it to passersby. Volunteers will distribute flyers alongside members of the working team. If you are available in early April, we are also looking for volunteers to distribute posters to strategic partners (community centers, libraries, etc.). Requirements: - Good interpersonal skills - French speaking (bilingual an asset) - Available on Sunday, April 19, ideally from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and/or during the day in early April (flexible date(s)) Benefits for volunteers: - Lunch provided (volunteering will start after lunch, around 1 pm) - Supervision on the day of the event - Letter of recommendation upon request - Opportunity to network with other organizations looking for volunteers if you wish to get involved again after the event - Volunteer recognition events at the VBM
