We are looking for volunteers to lead various types of activities with young people, with the support of a social worker or educator. These activities may be recreational, cultural, musical, scientific, artistic, athletic, or educational, depending on your skills, interests, and expertise. Activities mainly take place in Ahuntsic and Montreal North (needs in other neighborhoods may arise occasionally).

Some examples of activities to lead:

- Homework help

- Crafts

- Dance workshops, choreography creation

- board games

- gardening

- cooking workshops

- creating a mural with young people

- reading stories with children as part of their evening routine

- teaching young people to play a musical instrument

- making a short video with young people...

 and any other activity you would like to suggest that might spark our young people's curiosity!

Tasks:

• Set up a mini project
• Prepare the activity
• Lead the activity with a group of children or young people
• Help children develop and discover new skills.

Availability:

Variable and limited in time, depending on the activity offered. We mainly need volunteers in the evenings and on weekends during the school year, but at any time during the summer and school holidays.
