The CIUSSS du Centre-Sud is looking for hairdressers or barbers for our two Panache youth salons.
Volunteering at the salon involves offering free haircare and haircuts on straight or frizzy hair types.

Specific tasks:     

• Greet children/youth upon arrival at the salon
• Discuss expected hairstyle / cut
• Advise on hair washing and styling methods
• Style children/youth

Qualifications: 

• Professional hairstylist 
• Maturity, respect and commitment
• Responsibility and confidentiality
• Good listening and communication skills
• Courtesy and kindness
• Punctuality, patience and flexibility. 
• Ability to communicate in French

Minimum commitment of 6 months.

Schedule: 3-4 hours (Mondays or Wednesdays between 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.), alternating every 2 or 4 weeks for hairdressers and every 6 weeks for barbers.

Volunteer locations: Montreal East (12165, blvd St-Jean-Baptiste) and/or Ahuntsic (9335 St-Hubert)
