We need volunteers to accompany users by adapted transit to their medical appointments outside the Gingras Lindsay rehabilitation center in Montreal.

Volunteers do not need to own a car nor drive.

Shifts usually last 3-4 hours but we encourage volunteers to plan for 6 hours in case the appointment or commute take longer.

Specific tasks : 
- Pick up patients and accompany them by adapted transit;
- Orient users within the facility and drive them to the requested location when required;
- Accompany patients to appointments and ensure their comfort;
- Talk to the person during transportation and while waiting for the appointment;
- Escort them back to their floor and facilitate information sharing with the clerk.

Required qualities :
- Punctuality;
- Empathy, ability to relate to others;
- Good adaptability;
- Responsibility, autonomy;
- Discretion and confidentiality, maturity.
- Ability to communicate in French
