We are looking for groups or individuals who would like to get involved in the conservation of the Lachine Canal. The activity consists of removing ragweed in targeted areas along the canal.

This helps keep the Lachine Canal accessible to everyone, as ragweed is a harmful plant. In fact, about 30% of the population is allergic to it. Volunteers will pull out the ragweed and place it in garbage bags provided for this purpose to prevent it from contaminating green waste.

We provide all the necessary equipment and take care of handling the collected waste at the end of the activity.

We usually offer 2-hour time slots for this activity.
