Become a Board Member of
Centre d’entraide le Pivot Inc.

Mandatory Requirements:

1- You are willing to volunteer to attend (via Teams or in person, for a 2-year term) the various Board of Directors meetings and the Annual General Meeting (which represents approximately 8 to 10 Board meetings and one AGM per year).
2- You are 18 years of age or older.
3- You are a member of CELP or are willing to become one.

Profiles Sought at CELP for a Board Member Position:

1- Have skills or experience related to the governance of a non-profit organization.
2- Be interested in learning more about governance.
3- Be available and attend meetings and required processes diligently.
4- Commit to confidentiality and to values that ensure ethical conduct regarding decisions and discussions at the Board level.
5- Preferably have access to an email address and web conferencing software (Teams applications).

Additional Comments:

1- The schedule of Board meetings is determined with the elected members.
However, meetings are generally intended to be held on weekdays (Monday through Thursday), at times close to CELP’s opening hours (e.g., early evening from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.).
2- Board members commit to serving for two consecutive years.
