Intercultural twinning helps to:

• create connection
• build bridges between cultures
• better understand the reality of immigrants

The twinning program connects people who are new to Quebec (less than 5 years) with local residents. We are looking for people from Quebec (by birth or adoption) to be host twins for the new cohort starting on March 31, 2026:

• Participate in four preparatory group meetings with the cohort (get to know each other and prepare for pairing)
• Meet regularly with your twin (discover new places in Montreal, have coffee, go for a walk, etc.) for six months
• Build a trusting, equal, and reciprocal relationship.

Schedule:
Four complementary preparatory meetings, each from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., in person:
1. Tuesday, March 31
2. Thursday, April 2
3. Tuesday, April 7
4. Tuesday, April 14

Required profile:
- Be born in Quebec or have lived there for more than 5 years
- Have a good knowledge of Quebec culture and Montreal
- Have a sense of belonging to Quebec society
- Have an established social network
- Be fluent in French
- Be available to meet with your twin twice a month
- Be able to travel easily to Montreal to meet with your twin
- Submit to a criminal background check
