Join the Eureka Festival volunteer team! Would you like to take part in a festival like no other in Montreal? Be part of the toughest, smartest volunteer team in town? Meet new people, expand your network and do your part to raise awareness of environmental issues? The Eureka Festival team is looking for great, energetic and friendly volunteers to welcome, guide and inform visitors at its 19th edition, which will focus on the theme of SPORT! Join us for this great open-air celebration of science and technology! On the program: THREE days of free, interactive activities Shows, conferences, workshops, short activities, animations and explosive demonstrations! In all, over 125 fun activities presented by local organizations! You’ll be part of a great team of science-loving volunteers who contribute to the festival’s friendly atmosphere. Your schedule will include plenty of free time so you can experience the festival to the full. WHEN? Friday, June 5th, 2026: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2026: 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (evening show) Sunday, June 7, 2026: 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. WHERE? Parc Jean-Drapeau and the Biosphère. Jean-Drapeau metro (yellow line). PROFILE SOUGHT : - Age 16 and over - French imperative, bilingual French-English an asset - Interest in science, technology and the environment - Smiling, dynamic, polite, very reliable - At ease with young people and the general public - Willing to volunteer for a 7.5-hour day (minimum required), between June 5th and June 7, 2026 - Canadian resident - Have no criminal record. A mandatory virtual training session will be held in early May to discuss your role and tasks within the Festival (several dates will be offered). RESPONSIBILITIES: - Welcome school groups and the public - Establish warm, professional contact with festival-goers - Direct the public and answer their questions - Inform festival-goers about the day’s activities and events, etc. IN EXCHANGE FOR YOUR TIME, WE’LL GIVE YOU... - A pair of tickets to visit the Biosphère - A meal during your volunteer shift - A hat bearing the Festival Eurêka! logo - New knowledge on a host of subjects, interesting encounters, fun and, above all, an enriching experience to add to your CV!
