Volunteer Opportunity: Meals on Wheels – Walker/Biker Delivery

Maison Saint Columba House is looking for volunteers to deliver hot meals on foot or by bicycle as part of our Meals on Wheels (MOW) program in Point Saint-Charles.

Volunteers will deliver nutritious hot lunches to our MOW participants on weekdays (up to 12 addresses per route), supporting seniors and individuals with reduced mobility. This role is a great way to stay active while making a meaningful impact in the neighborhood ‍️

Schedule:
Weekdays, late morning to early afternoon
⏰ Approximately 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Location:
Point Saint-Charles
Meal pick-up at Maison Saint Columba House

What we’re looking for:

• Comfortable walking or biking short delivery routes

• Reliable and punctual

• Friendly, respectful, and client-oriented

• Able to carry a light insulated bag (up to 20 kg)

• No delivery experience required 

Volunteers must be comfortable being outdoors in varying weather conditions.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support food security, reduce social isolation, and stay connected with the community.
