The Saint-Antoine 50+ Community Center is currently seeking volunteers to join our talent pool and help bring engaging, creative, and meaningful activities to our members.

Our center serves adults aged 50+ who enjoy learning, socializing, creativity, and discovering new experiences in a warm and inclusive environment.

We are looking for volunteers who would like to share a talent, passion, or skill through performances, workshops, demonstrations, or interactive activities. Participation can be one-time, occasional, or ongoing, depending on your availability.

Examples of talents and interests include (but are not limited to):

Performing & Entertainment

• Musicians, singers
• Storytellers, oral history sharers
• Poets, spoken word performers
• Actors or readers for short plays or skits
• Comedians
• Dancers
• Magicians or puppeteers

Arts & Crafts

• Live painters or sketch artists
• Crafts (knitting, crocheting, quilting, embroidery)
• Woodworking or carving
• Photography
• Calligraphy or lettering
• Jewelry making
• Scrapbooking or memory books

Knowledge & Activities

• History talks (local history, travel, heritage)
• Language conversation leaders
• Financial basics or budgeting
• Chess, bridge, or card game instructor
• Trivia, game nights, puzzles or brain games

Wellness, Culture & Lifestyle

• Breathing or vocal warm-up facilitators
• Nutrition or healthy cooking demonstrations
• Gardening
• Travel storytelling
• Cultural traditions (music, food, customs)
• Cooking or baking workshops
• Wine, tea, or coffee appreciation
• Holiday or seasonal activity leaders

 

No professional experience is required. Talents can be professional, amateur, or simply a passion you enjoy sharing.
