The Valiquette Foundation is a registered Canadian charity based in Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal. For over a decade, the organisation has supported children from Grade 1 through Secondary V through a comprehensive range of academic programmes, year-round camps, youth success initiatives, and extensive community outreach. The Foundation works closely with families referred through CLSC Côte-des-Neiges, CLSC NDG, Batshaw Youth and Family Services, and a number of local churches and community partners. Its work has a direct, life-changing impact on children and families across CDN – NDG and surrounding neighbourhoods. Active in the community for over a decade, the organisation formalised its non-profit status in 2018 and obtained registered charitable status in 2022. The Foundation delivers strong, meaningful programming and has demonstrated consistent impact; however, strengthening financial capacity, fundraising, and public awareness is now critical. The organisation is at a pivotal moment, positioned on the precipice of its next phase of growth and long-term sustainability. We are seeking individuals to join our Board of Governors and help guide this next stage of development. Board members play a strategic role in supporting the organisation’s mission, contributing insight and leadership, and helping build the partnerships, visibility, and resources required to move the Foundation to the next level. Individuals with experience or interest in fundraising, philanthropy, governance, communications, or community leadership are encouraged to express their interest.
