Union Cosmique٭ is seeking an Art Events Facilitator to help ensure the smooth running of its participatory artistic events. The Art Events Facilitator will be responsible for: Hosting and facilitating artistic events (exhibitions, workshops, shows, performances, etc.) Introducing artists and presenting scheduled activities Engaging with the audience and encouraging participation Ensuring the event schedule and program run as planned Collaborating with the organizing team and participating artists Helping create an inclusive, respectful, and safe atmosphere ٭ Union Cosmique is a sub-branch of Angle Psy, dedicated to supporting emerging artists in Québec. Its mission is to create a space where art becomes a catalyst for social connection. Every Friday, we host participatory artistic evenings focused on sharing and co-creation. Our goal is to empower artists and build a vibrant, engaged artistic community. Experience in facilitation, cultural mediation, or event management Comfort speaking in front of an audience Strong interest in arts and culture Excellent communication skills Strong improvisation skills, dynamism, and professionalism Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset Approximately 5 hours per event On-site presence required Mainly Friday evenings Hands-on experience in event facilitation and logistics A central role within artistic activities Supportive and safe supervision through Angle Psy Volunteer certificate and letter of recommendation based on level of involvementMain Responsibilities
