As a Peer Job Search / Career Coach, you’ll support community members by helping them: Build or improve their CV/resumé and cover letters Navigate job search strategies (online applications, follow-ups, etc.) Prepare for interviews and career conversations Set goals and stay motivated during their job search Access helpful resources and referrals when needed Bilingual (an asset) Interested in peer support, mentorship, and community building. Comfortable supporting others with career development and job searching. Interested or experienced in working with newcomers. Friendly, patient, and supportive in 1:1 conversations Strengthen your communication, teaching, and career development skills. Make a meaningful impact for adult learners and job seeker. Join a welcoming community of volunteers and learners.About CELI: The Community Empowerment Literacy Initiative (CELI) supports newcomers and underemployed adults through career development, job search guidance, and skill-building support.
