Spokesperson – Health Partner Role Overview As a spokesperson, you will give presentations to businesses, organizations, and government institutions, in collaboration with Health Partner. Commitment Required Dates: Presentations are scheduled on request, based on organizational needs. Duration: 10 to 30 minutes, including a Q&A session. Location: In-person (Quebec province) and online. Availability: Weekdays, mainly mornings or afternoons. Quick confirmation is required for each engagement. Training and support are provided to help you feel confident and prepared for your presentations. Key Responsibilities Share your personal story about the impact of arthritis on daily life. Raise awareness of the realities and challenges of living with arthritis. Answer audience questions to promote understanding of the condition. Represent the Arthritis Society of Canada in an authentic and professional manner. Skills, Qualities, and Requirements Personal experience with arthritis and willingness to share your story. Comfortable speaking in public and able to engage an audience. Interest in arthritis awareness and education. Reliable and able to respond quickly to requests for presentations. 18 years of age or older. Access to a computer and the internet for virtual presentations. The Spokesperson role for the Arthritis Society of Canada with Health Partner is a unique opportunity to share your personal experience with arthritis and raise public awareness about the daily challenges of living with this condition. We are looking for committed volunteers who are comfortable speaking publicly to share their stories and help others understand that arthritis is far from a “minor” disease.
This is a flexible volunteer role based on requests from Health Partner. Presentations can be in-person within Quebec or online. Volunteers must be able to respond quickly to invitations and make themselves available as needed.
