We are looking for volunteers to help with housekeeping at our day centre, as well as in the buildings that house our residential units. Volunteers must be sensitive to community support and to assisting seniors experiencing vulnerability and homelessness.

Required skills and qualities:

• Good physical condition

• Professionalism, autonomy, and versatility

• Ability to interact respectfully with people experiencing vulnerable situations

• Ability to use a floor scrubber, or willingness to learn how to use one

Availability required between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Tasks include:

• Cleaning floors

• Cleaning bathrooms

• Cleaning windows

• Cleaning tables

• Snow removal

• Any other tasks as requested by the front desk supervisor

Benefits offered by PAS de la rue to volunteers:

• Letter of reference upon request (after more than 40 hours of volunteering)
