Habitations Nouvelles Avenues (HNA) is a retirement residence and community organization open to seniors in the Rosemont neighbourhood. HNA is seeking a new member to join its board of directors, which consists of nine dynamic members with diverse skills.
The members of the board of directors ensure the fulfillment of the mission of the HNA corporation, while ensuring sound management of financial, material and human resources, in the interests of the corporation.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate an interest in the well-being of seniors. Knowledge and/or experience working with seniors or in one of the following areas will be considered an asset: financial management, legal expertise, building management, social housing, community sector, Rosemont area. Previous experience on a board of directors of a community organization is desirable but not required.
The commitment involves approximately 8 meetings per year, generally via Zoom videoconference, on Tuesdays from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, and occasionally in person. The annual general meeting takes place during the last week of March, usually on a Tuesday at 2:30 pm.
