Position Title: Volunteer – YouTube Channel Development
Organization: Kabir Cultural Centre, Montreal 
Job Type: Part-time, Volunteer (3–5 hours per week, for 3–4 months)

Role Overview

The Kabir Cultural Centre is seeking a motivated volunteer to help develop and grow its official YouTube channel. This role is ideal for someone passionate about arts, culture, and digital media who wants to contribute to the visibility of South Asian and multicultural programming in Montreal.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and optimizing the Kabir Cultural Centre’s YouTube channel
• Upload and organize video content (performances, interviews, cultural events)
• Create playlists and thematic categories to enhance audience engagement
• Support basic video editing and thumbnail creation
• Implement strategies for audience growth and community interaction
• Collaborate with the Centre’s team to align content with programming goals

Qualifications

• Familiarity with YouTube platform management and video uploading
• Basic skills in video editing and graphic design (preferred but not required)
• Strong interest in arts, culture, and community engagement
• Ability to work independently and meet weekly commitments
• Bilingual (English/French) communication skills are an asset

Commitment

• 3 to 5 hours per week
• Duration: 3 to 4 months
• Flexible schedule, remote work possible
