Become a Volunteer with Partage & Solidarité

Partage & Solidarité is a charitable organization founded in 2017 and recipient of the Canada Volunteer Award (Social Innovation, Québec region).
Our mission: to reduce food waste and support the community by redistributing unsold food from Montréal businesses free of charge, with no proof or conditions required.

Every month, thanks to our volunteers, we recover 35 to 40 tons of food, which are transformed into 3,000 to 4,000 free food baskets distributed across several Montréal boroughs.

Possible volunteer tasks (based on your abilities the day of)
• Sorting and preparing food baskets.
• Welcoming and serving beneficiaries during distribution.
• Transporting and handling food (light or more physical tasks).
• Setup and logistical support.

We value a respectful, inclusive, and warm welcome for everyone. Our activities run 7 days a week, with a variety of tasks available — including seated options.

With you on board: 1 truck = 1 ton of food saved = 130 families fed.
