G.I.T. is a social economy organization that offers pre-employability programs and adapted employment experiences that promote the social and professional inclusion of people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. In doing so, it pursues a social mission with environmental impact. As a member of the Board of Directors, you will play a key role in the governance of our organization, helping to shape our 2025–2028 strategic plan and make important decisions. Your expertise and commitment will directly support our vision of a society where everyone has access to meaningful employment opportunities and actively contributes to the community. The Board meets six times a year for regular meetings (two virtual meetings at lunchtime in winter, and in-person meetings in spring and fall on a weekday evening). Additional meetings may be scheduled if you join a working committee. To complement the expertise already present on our team, we encourage applications from individuals working in communications, public relations, marketing (including branding), or the academic sector with an interest in research related to homelessness, employment, or social inequalities. We are looking for people who are attuned to issues of social and professional inclusion, as well as the development of employability.
