Our weekly computer workshop aims to develop the employability of our participants enrolled in the Programme préparatoire à l’emploi (PPE), an employment preparation program for people facing barriers to employment. For some people, this knowledge is very limited; for others, it is nonexistent. Yet it is essential to helping them become self-reliant in their job search. The objective is to acquire general knowledge and basic computer skills, including the creation and management of an e-mail inbox, the use of word processing and an Internet browser. We are looking for a volunteer who :
- has good computer skills
- is patient
- wants to share their knowledge
- is at ease in a group
