Become a Volunteer and Help Make a Difference!

Frequency: Twice a month (Wednesday or Friday)
Location: Sorif
Schedule: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Do you have time, patience, and a desire to help in a meaningful way?
Sorif is looking for a committed, caring, and detail-oriented volunteer to support women in their journey toward entering the workforce or returning to school. The role involves providing hands-on assistance with occasional administrative tasks that are not directly related to employability.

Your role:

• Provide support in understanding and managing certain administrative procedures (e.g., license renewal, online forms).
• Assist clients in using a computer to access various services (social, governmental, educational).
• Help with occasional requests (Christmas baskets, food assistance).
• Collaborate with the employment counseling team.
• Foster a respectful, safe, and confidential environment.

Profile sought:

• Comfortable with computers and online navigation.
• Patient, empathetic, and a good listener.
• Able to simplify information and guide clearly.
• Language: French
