At the VBM, we offer a matching service to make it easier for everyone to volunteer. We have offers from hundreds of organizations, and we know that it’s sometimes difficult to find your way around. That’s why we’re helping newcomers, seniors and people who are not yet digitally literate in finding the opportunities that are right for them. Our matching service allows us to offer individualized follow-up. We meet with people to understand their interests and motivations for volunteering, and suggest volunteer activities that match their profile. Since this service is in high demand and we’re a small team, we need volunteers to support us! How does it work? * You’ll report to the person in charge of coordinating volunteer services, and receive training on arrival to learn about our internal tools and counseling approach. You will then be given your first files and appointments. * At all times, there will be someone on the team you can refer to if you have any questions. Volunteer hours and location : Skills and qualities required : Little extras : HOW TO APPLY :
* Your role will be to guide people who are looking to volunteer and who need help finding a host organization. You’ll meet them for an interview (by phone or in person) and apply on their behalf to the offers you’ve chosen together. You will then follow up with your candidates and the host organizations to check if the matching was successful.
